This time, too good is true!

Happy Valentine's Day...yesterday! It was so much fun! Since I can't find a job, and only have class half the week, I had plenty of time to think of creative things to do for V-Day. Among my ideas were "The Twelve Days of Valentine's" that I did for Chris. Every day, I gave him a little surprise gift to tell him I love him! I made cupcakes and gave him some to take to work, I made cookies (and obviously I made him help which was fun!) I gave him a free night of Halo, ect...

On the twelfth day of Valentines, I decorated the apartment and made a "fancy" dinner of steak and potatoes for Chris. And yes, if you were wondering, that is a tupperwear box with a tablecloth on it (we're getting a table this weekend and I'm SOOO excited!)

It was a wonderful Valentine's! Chris brought home a giant teddy bear, a single rose (One more for every year) and a DELICIOUS boquet of choco dipped strawberries! YUM!!! I hope you all had a fantastic Valentine's too!

Our Place

Well, We finally got all the junk, luggage, and boxes out of our apartment, so I decided to take some pictures while it was clean for a few minutes before the messy storm (aka Chris) came home!

So, first things first, this is what you see as you walk into our entry way

Immediately to your left, we have the restroom

And here on the right, we have the kitchen! Lots of cupboard space and great (and red!) appliances

And here we have the living room nestled into the bay window area. That couch is actually about 6 inches shorter! It was way too small, so we just propped it up on cinder blocks. Works great!

And Chris's favorite...the entertainment center (I hid all of his game systems behind the TV!)

Our little bedroom is quite cozy, and I do mean little!

I just thought I'd put these pictures in, Chris just brought some flowers home for me one day for no reason!...well, you know, because he loves me! It was so sweet of him, and it really helped me out because the cold and 3 feet of snow around here were getting me a little depressed, and these flowers are just what I needed to brighten me up! I'm so blessed to have such a thoughtful husband!

Honey Mooners!

This picture was on the way to Ogden. It had been so cold and snowy, but this was a pretty warm and sunny day, so the snow was evaporating off the mountain into a cloud. Yeah, there's a mountain under that cloud! I thought it was kinda cool....anyways, back to the story

Chris decided to make his famous pinapple barbeque chicken for me. It was delicious, and very snowy! That night, it snowed about 1 1/2 feet. brrrr!

So, as some of you know, the day before the wedding I got a bit of the stomach flu...actually a lot of it. A few days after the wedding I was starting to feel better and it was so nice to be able to eat again! We headed off for our Honeymoon at the WolfCreek Lodge in Ogden but in a stroke of bad luck, we got there on the first day, and I was down with a bad cold. Chris was so great! He completely babied me till I felt better. By new years eve I felt good enough to go out, so we went to the only place open... a gaming place and we went mini golfing and played a few intense acrade games :) Afterwards, we went and saw P.S. I love you. Mushy but good! Definately bad luck to get sick so much, but Chris was awesome and so patient, and we had a great time!!!!

(sorry, I don't know how to turn the picture)

The rest of the honeymoon I felt worse, so I really wasn't up to going out again. I felt really bad that we didn't do much because of my cold, but it actually was nice just to relax after a pretty hectic month!

Wedding Bells!

Well, the day that felt like it would never get here has come and gone and was WONDERFUL! Chris and I were married for time and eternity on December 20 in the Logan Temple (as you all know!) It was such a great experience to have all of my family in the temple with us, and we were so grateful to have so many friends and family that could be there with us!
Our Family

The reception was gorgeous!!! My parents worked so hard to make the house beautiful and they were definately successful. We couldn't believe how many people came to the reception! We thought since it was so close to Christmas people wouldn't have the time, but we were very grateful that they did, and it was great to see everyone and share the celebration!

I promise i'm not this much taller than my sisters! I was just on a step above them :)

And of course we have the "cutting of the wedding cake"

Isn't mom beautiful!
It was a beautiful wedding and reception! Thanks everyone for working so hard to make it wonderful, we love you and appreciate everything you've done for us!

I've been tagged!

The rules of the game should be posted at the beginning of the post. Each player lists 6 habits/facts about themselves. At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves a comment telling them they've been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

1. I have a habit of naming things. Everything! Our hammock is named Martha, we ate a watermellon named Herman, my car is Betsy, ect...

2. I am a MAJOR cuddlebug. I just can't get enough of it!

3. I hate video games. I think they're a waste of time and I'm terrible at them....but I LOVE guitar hero! Chris got guitar hero 3 for me, and I'm addicted! I have to admit, I pretty much rock at it too!

4. That's right, I never learned how to do laundry until I was in college.

5. At work this summer, I would get so bored feeding the residents their dinner, I would entertain myself by thinking of what vegetable/fruit/animal people were. I decided that I'm an ostrich. One of my co-workers was a ferret, Mom is a manitee, one of my residents was a pumpkin, ect...It's a weird thing I know, but when you're desperate for some entertainment it's kinda fun.

6. The last fact about me is that I am totally, 100%, head over heels IN LOVE with Chris! He's the best thing that's ever happened to me, and I've never been happier!!! I'm so excited to marry him I can hardly stand it! (As of today, it's only 36 days to be exact) We were talking the other day about what a wonderful thing marraige is. Not that we completely know yet, but what a blessing it will be to not only have him as my best friend, but as my husband! It's so exciting that we love eachother so much, and we can have the rest of forever to keep on loving eachother!! And how awesome is it that I will never have to wake up without him, and we will never have to be alone anymore because he will always be my partner, and I will be his! What a blessing that we always have eachother!!!

So there's my 6 things, but unfortunately I don't know 6 people that have a blog, so I am tagging Teagan, Shaun, Todd, and Mark J

Happy Halloween!

This Halloween was way fun! Chris and I went to the Faye's and carved pumkins and I have to admit, ours was pretty darn cute! We named him "Remington"....no particular reason why, it just fit!

And Remington is born!

The resemblence is amazing!

All in all, it was a fun Halloween!
